We don't usually do much for St. Patricks Day, the most we do is the traditional wear something green. I have been trying to come up with some fun ideas to switch things up a little this year. I made these to use with my kids and thought I would share them with you.

I am going to send my kids on a treasure hunt to find the pot of gold left behind by a leprechaun. Double bonus: Chores will get done as well!

You will start by handing them the first clue. Once they get to the location of the clue, you will give them a  Naughty Leprechaun Chore Card. Once they complete the chore, they get the next clue.

I am going to make my kids do their regular chores: trash, laundry, sweeping etc. For smaller kids you could do something easy like put away 5 toys, help wash the table - something simple.

At the end of the adventure, reward them with things like chocolate gold coins, suckers, and candy necklaces!

Here are the clue cards and chore cards I made for my kids, feel free to use them!
I told my kids about this idea, and they both said that they are excited to do chores on St. Patricks day so they can get a special treat!

I am going to try and provide free things to download most Fridays. I am making calendars to organize all my website stuff, and thought I would share this months calendar with you.

{Plus I wanted to figure out how to post embedded objects, so this post is allowing me to learn this}

Here is a March Calendar for Freebie Friday:
