I am back from a 2 week vacation. I spent some time with family and friends basking in the sun at the beach in California. It was a super fabulous trip, but I am pooped! I hope to get back into the saddle and make Esbe Chic come back to life! Just wanted to let you know, that I am finally back around! göt2b smooth operator review 06/09/2010
I decide to take a break and then get thrown a ton of freebies to try out. I had to start sharing them before the list gets too high! I was chosen to try out göt2b smooth operator products from BzzAgent. I got a coupon to go buy FREE product, and I did. Can I just tell you this stuff is great! I have tried the Lusture Lotin and the Hairspray and I love them. They smell super tasty too! I love that the hairspray isn't sticky, but it totally holds. I love that they are fancy shmancy products but with a good price. Suggested retail is $5.99 which is not bad at all. The packaging is also super cute and easy to remember. I've been busy handing out samples and coupons. (Sorry if you didn't get any) Next time I'll have to make sure to share more with my bloggy friends! BUT... Hey...I do have access to a Buy One Get One Free product coupong good at CVS if anyone wants it..I don't have a CVS here, but would love to share the love! (First one to comment saying they want the coupon gets it) Ah I always love trying new products, especially when they are free....and ESPECIALLY when I really like them! You should seriously consider trying this loveliness out :) Ps, I'm heading out on a much needed vacay :) Sand, sun and beach here I come! *yay* Brit Bloggers Anonymous - First Step to Recovery 06/04/2010
I attended my first BA (Bloggers Anonymous) meeting. It's a meeting for those addicted to blogging. Haha just kidding. I didn't join a BA group. BUT...I'm just not feeling the bloggy love. I read too many blogs, and spend too much time online sometimes so I have decided that I am: I'll be back in a few weeks. This will give me some time to catch up on projects and spend more time with the Famdamily. Hopefully you won't miss me too much ;) Until next time... Brit I pulled her head off with pliers. 06/02/2010
Remember this sweet find I posted about last week? Makeover time!!! Yay! I went to work. First things first, she needed to be removed from the wood. It was NOT easy. She was glued on with some super magical glue from the 1800's. She would not budge. She was not happy about this process either... I was LAUGHING while I was pulling her off, it was like she was giving me these grumpy faces telling me that this was not fun. So I pulled her head off with pliers...it was rough. After A LOT of work, I finally got her off. I had to show her after picture because she was happy that the process was done, but looked like a total train wreck. I laughed. and laughed. It was funny making over something that was giving me faces during the process. Sad part is...I couldn't imagine keeping her around. So I sent her to trash heaven, I mean she was looking pretty trashy by the end of the process, so off she went... I then tried to get the super magical glue to come off, and it wouldn't come all the way. Sometimes I'm kind of lazy on my projects, and didn't feel like messing with it. So most of the glue stayed.. And then I spray painted the edges black...gotta love the black... I then modge podged some cute paper on top. Distressed the edges, put the hooks back in. I decided to make some cute little flowers to cover the glue mess and the bumps that were left behind with it. (this was my little fix to my slacker ways.) And you have.... Total Awesome and Coolness. I think I'm going to hang it by my garage door to hang keys on. Turned out pretty good, considering what it looked like at the beginning. Thanks for stopping by :) There are more Giveaways listed right now than ever before, remember to go check em out: |
