I threw together this quick little idea so I could have some cute candles burning at a shin dig I threw.

I just took some TRASH jars - one of them had peppers in it, and the other one had pizza sauce in it. Instead of throwing them away, I kept them, cleaned them up and made these cute little buggers.

I think there is more potential with these, but for a quick idea it turned out alright. I painted the glass with a mixture of modge podge and acrylic paint.  I let them dry and them tied rafia around them. I added some tea light candles and we have...

a little painted glass jar..and they are super cute in the dark:

It would be fun to do a bunch of different colors. Wouldn't these be cute to stick outside when you're having a BBQ. Quick, simple and practically free...gotta love it...right? :)

I was excited to be apart of the review for the Sex and the City 2 Soundtrack! I got my cd in the mail and have been cranking the tunes all day!

And guess what? The soundtrack comes out in stores TODAY May 25th!

The soundtrack features new music from Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, Leona Lewis, Cee Lo, and Dido.

It pretty much rocks, it's a super fab 'ladies night' cd.

I have made a TON of coasters out of tiles over the last several months. (I'll have to take some pictures of them in another post)
 They are very simple to make and oh so cute!

I thought I would share my little "inspiration" coaster I made for my office:

All you do is take a 4x4 tile that you can buy at a hardware store for around $0.16/piece. I modge podged some paper on top of it, and went through some magazines and put some "inspiration" or "happy" words all over it. And then on the bottom of the coaster you put those felt furniture pads on, so the coaster will glide. And then you have...Inspiration Coaster :)

I love tile coasters in general, but I love "my" little coaster because it's a little reminder to me each time I put a drink on it!

Speaking of inspiration,  I need to get my craft back on and start creating more stuff. I have been a SLACKER!

So I didn't find my camera...nor do I plan on ever finding it...BUT I have a camera again!! Whoo hoo

Turns out my husbands old junky camera still works, and works just perfect for what I need :)

So until I decide to do a major upgrade, this will do.

This is a picture of Axel my Doberman - I was so excited to have a working camera again, he had to be my model for a moment to test it out.

Whoo on having a camera.

I still miss you old camera.

I hope that you didn't get ran over by a car, or a cow.
